Lorraine Weiss Design and Development Review provides urban and environmental land use planning services to the private and public sectors in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lorraine Weiss has over twenty years experience and is a Bay Area native who has augmented her passion for planning and knowledge of design with frequent overseas travel.  The result, a highly developed Northern California sensibility enhanced by an international perspective which helps her improve the sense of place in local communities.
 
Lorraine provides a personalized, high quality planning service whose trademark is skill in assessing issues and concerns and breadth of research. She is adept at creating, recommending and implementing design changes to best meet the community’s needs during the development process while aiming to satisfy all the stakeholders at completion.  Her work on a variety of planning projects has demonstrated efficiency in teamwork and management, the ability to operate independently and the tenacity to see a project through from start to finish.

Clients include public local municipalities, private property owners, architects, and developers of housing, commercial, and multi-use projects. She has been project manager for all types of development proposals including Specific Plan Amendments, General Plan Amendments, Commercial Developments, Institutional Developments, Residential Subdivisions, Historic Property Evaluations, and Redevelopment Projects. Her experience covers a broad range of projects from single family and high density multi-family infill projects, hillside design review, large scale residential subdivisions, major commercial, industrial, multi-use and large downtown redevelopment projects.
