Prior to starting her own consulting practice, Lorraine Weiss was in the public sector and worked for Daly City, Palo Alto, Belmont, and Town of Corte Madera in various planning positions.  Her most recent government employment was with the Town of Corte Madera where she held the position of Director of Environmental Services (Planning and Building Divisions) and oversaw planning, building and safety, and code enforcement, provided highly complex support to the Town Manager, organized and coordinated all activities of the General Plan Update, worked with consultant to prepare Town’s ADA Transition Plan and Self-Evaluation, and managed and supervised staff and all consultants on daily planning and building matters.
